Tasks

The working group has the task to monitor the construction of the Willy Wien Laboratory. The laboratory accommodates a low-energy electron storage ring, the Metrology Light Source (MLS). We steer and coordinate the construction of the MLS and its beamlines and experimental stations. Moreover the group plans to establish the basis for the use of infrared and terahertz radiation for metrological applications.
